At the Philharmonic in the Park concert in Brooklyn, we heard music by Berlioz (alas, not Symphonie Fantastique of Music 1a fame), Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky, and saw fireworks. As we left Prospect Park around 10:30 pm, we saw crowds of people lined up at the movie theater for the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
