The wonder cat is scared of rain, particularly thunderstorms. The kitchen is his preferred bomb shelter, because it has no windows and because he can be close to his food lest the storm last for a few hours. For some reason, during this thunderstorm he wound up scrunched up next to the refrigerator. When I opened it, he just let himself be nudged over slightly, his face totally squished against the door.
